The is a semi abstract figurative piece where I have taken the character Evangelina and expressed her turmoil as she waits for her lover to come home, but he does not. She was expecting to go to the new restaurant across the city and then on to the ballet. But tonight was going to be somewhat different. One of the last pieces from the mystery of Evangelina where she finds a book that contains a secret to manifesting your desires.

Rich metallic golds, cogs to represent her thoughts moving, a clock telling who knows what time and remnants of a letter . What on earth could have happened to turn this dream evening into and Alice in Wonderland mystery.

English handmade bobbin lace on her Art Deco inspired dress and velvet long gloves compliment the emerald green velvet hat adorned with Ostrich feathers.
