Unicorn Patronus - Copper and Bronze Effect Sculpture

The Unicorn. One of the most magical of mythical creatures. Not the pink and rainbow fluff of children's stories...but a darker version. With a fierce temper and a strength of character we might all wish for. My unicorn runs freely in the forbidden forest and appears when I need strength and courage to keep going forwards. He is my patronus.

The sculpture is finished in a copper effect with blue-green tinges to mimic the slight oxidation of copper. I love how colours appear when things are chemically changed. Like an autumn tree leaf gives us wonderful colours.

This sculpture has a magical twist...when you turn out the lights, you can see him glow in the dark.

I make all my art from found objects and things that would have ended up in landfill...and I turn them into wonderful art. I am the artist with the magical paintbrush!

The sculpture is 33 x 35 x 19cm
