Inspired by The Detectorists and that fantastic song by The Unthanks, this magical wall sculpture explores the naughty but intelligent magpies and their love for bringing shiny objects back to the nest. Someone told me that a person had offered magpies food in return for a gift...they complied. More cunning than the Raven...more wise than any Owl.
Made from a reclaimed ceramic tile and embellished with clay and hardened fabric ...and painted feathers. This is unique and totally sustainable magic.
