The centaur sighed, his breath like the rustling of old trees. "Balance has been broken. Man was once the guardian of the wild, but now he is its taker.” Lena listened, and felt a deep warmth spread through her chest. The centaur was not offering a spell, nor a potion, but a choice. A challenge.
"Equilibrium must be restored," he said, meeting her gaze. "Will you answer the call?"
The sculpture is finished in a copper effect with blue-green tinges to mimic the slight oxidation of copper. I love how colours appear when things are chemically changed. Like an autumn tree leaf gives us wonderful colours.
This sculpture has a magical twist...when you turn out the lights, he could be a patronus!
