A Quiet Night In- Original Oil 12 x 24 x 1.5"

"Finally the night was here. I put on my new dress. Layers of chiffon adorned with the finest English lace made by a local crafter on the outskirts of Oxford. She had stitched this dress by hand as if it were a wedding garment. Indeed, it is for a ceremony, just not a marital one. I chortled to myself as I stood by the roaring fire and lit the candle. It was time to begin and my books were itching to be opened."

The is an original oil on canvas. The canvas is wrapped onto a wooden frame and it is 'chunky' which means the frame is around 4cm wide. I have painted the edges too by taking the painting and continuing this around the frame. Quite a feat in perspective I may say!!
