I Feel Like I am Buying a Little Piece of Magic

"I feel like I am buying a little piece of magic"

Her little six year old daughter studied the paintings with her mother at Manchester Art Fair. I was there just over a week ago and I overheard their conversation.

The little girl asked "why are all the paintings different mummy?"

The lady crouched down to her daughters eye level and replied "because each one is like a new child for the artist and look at how different each child is."

I thought that was a fantastic answer. I thought perhaps she was an artist herself. The little girl seemed satisfied with that reply and ran off to her father who was carefully carrying a large abstract all bubble wrapped.
I couldn't resist speaking with the lady. I asked her "why do you buy art from art fairs?" She said,

"I feel like I am buying a little piece of magic"
There were some absolutely stunning pieces of artwork there and I see myself having a booth there, hopefully next year.

I need to save up the £1000 fee though for a booth 😯

You have three days to display your work and talk to potential customers. It is open to the public (tickets only) between 10am and 4pm on each day.

If there are any pieces from my Evangelina collection left, I may take them!
